One thing that gets us out of bed in no time is getting out of town.

LET'S GO TO THE BEACH, BEACH.

Just prior to writing this post, I checked into my flight departing for Florida tonight. If that didn't put me in the beach vacation state of mind, this just did. As Harold's other half from the Coastal Living Showhouse, this space does our Austin Blue bedding just right.

But of course, one's eye can't help but get caught up in the epic blue palm wallpaper behind it. While some might fear chaos would ensue with this serious case of the blues, Bailey knew if done right, this combo could actually have an extremely calming effect on you. She achieved this by keeping the tone on tone theme throughout, like with the curtain trim below, behind which lies breathtaking beachfront views.

When given the opportunity to escape somewhere with beautiful exteriors like the beach, it's important to maintain interiors that take you to that same peaceful place. The color scheme screams that the ocean's near; the pattern play says the party's here.

As the final stop on the third floor all on its own, we think this print--as Harold's other half--is the perfect exclamation point to this vacation home. I hope I've gotten you on my wavelength with thoughts of red, white and Austin blue all weekend, wherever the Fourth is taking you.
